At holding level I developed the internal e-mail company, laid out analytics, search strategies and advertising systems.
2004-2006 Manager Online Marketing & Sales Speurders.nl (TMG). developed the marketing introduction of Speurders.nl with a team of 3 people and € 2 million media budget annually. Later built advertising sales team to sell advertising inventory with 5 people. First year turnover € 3 million.

How could this have happened?
Originally I'm a techie. Working on Unix, Cisco systems and trying to learn a little programming. Somewhere in the 90's I made the switch to the commercial world. and started with sales, marketing and development of new projects and companies. I pride and stress myself to know both quite a bit on the operational backgrounds of the internet on the left side of the spectrum and marketing - sales on the right. Having met and worked with many people over the 17 years in the online industry, from investors and founders to knowledge workers and bluntly crazy people, I'm able to at least spell out a lot of BSB words.
